Michelle + Jaie::Emotional

I truly do have a kickass job. I get to hang out with wonderful people on the happiest day of their life and capture the joy, fun and emotion of their day.
Michelle and Jaie’s wedding was no different, and was a day filled with emotion and touching moments. From Michelle’s brother serenading her with a beautiful song while he was welcoming Jaie to the family, to her dad’s touching and hilarious speech which included showing off the “dowry” that Jaie had given when he asked for Michelle’s hand in marriage.
Enjoy the photographs and please do leave some comments if you have time.

Here is Michelle’s brother singing to her and Jaie. It was a seriously teary few minutes and completely heart touching. Jason is an incredible singer, and several people have commented that he should try out for Nashville Star. I totally agree. You can also see Michelle’s bouquet toss in the first 1/2 of this diptych.

There comes a point in every day where you just need to act a little goofy. Jaie found that point right before we left the train station in Fort Saskatchewan, haha.

We even managed to find some guys on a stag who were kind enough to lend Jaie a driver, ball and tee.

And Michelle’s dowry that her dad showed to everyone. He had told Jaie way back when Michelle and Jaie started dating that he would require a dowry of a horse and two chickens if Jaie wanted to marry his daughter. He knew that Jaie was serious about his daughter the day that he arrived for work and found this horse and two chickens on his desk. What an amazing love Jaie has for Michelle.

And to finish things off, the DJ had a fun game for the guys to do in order to win the garter. The guys had to get the ball dangling from these belt contraptions into one of the 3 baskets attached to the belt. Lots of fun!
