Today, we have another installment from Tara and Nick’s amazing wedding on the Mayan Riviera in Mexico at the beginning of May. The day after their wedding, we ran around on the beach, played in the ocean, jumped in the pool, and even got a bit wet from the waterfall in the pool at the Iberostar Paraiso Beach Resort.

Oh, and as you’ll notice, we were on a pier that was from another resort. hehe. Tara and Nick were amazingly willing to scale around the side of the railing and climb over in order to get some amazing photos for this session. You guys totally rock, and I’m so happy to have been able to share the week with you down there.

A couple of weeks ago, I had the pleasure of hanging out with Char and Curtis to shoot their e-session. We had a blast shooting around the Spruce Grove area, and came up with some wicked shots. They are getting married at Fort Edmonton Park this July, and I can’t wait for their wedding day.

Char was also very receptive to the idea of a trash the dress session sometime after the wedding, so stay tuned for wedding photos and a TTD session of photos late this summer!

Well, I’m slowly but surely making it through Tara and Nick’s shots from their wedding week on the Mayan Riviera, Mexico. Up next we’ve got a few shots from their e-session down there. We were having such a blast that day, that I think we ended up shooting for almost 3 hours.

This past Sunday, I had the good fortune and pleasure to photograph Kara and Richard’s wedding here in Edmonton. They were married at Robertson Wesley United Church by Rev. Jim Allan in an emotional and touching ceremony.

With a weather forecast back on Thursday of rain and cloud throughout the entire weekend, the warm sun and blue skies were a welcome sight on Sunday morning and throughout the day. We really could not have asked for better weather!

We did the family and bridal party photos at the Alberta Legislature grounds, where we had shot Kara and Richard’s engagement photos back in the fall. These photos were evident throughout their reception at the Delta Edmonton South, as well as a slideshow that Kara’s beautiful sisters put together for the happy couple.

Right after I returned from the Mayan Riviera, I had the pleasure of shooting Tiffany and Jason’s amazing wedding at the Hotel MacDonald here in Edmonton. What an amazing venue! The food, the service, and the ambience were incredible. The only things that could possibly outshine all of that, were Tiffany & Jason and the amazing details from their wedding day.

Tiffany is an avid (read: incredibly talented) scrapbooker, and she did an incredible job with the details. As well, with a name like Tiffany, how can you not have a few baubles from Tiffany and Co.

There were far too many touching moments from their wedding day, and it all made me value and treasure the relationships that I am privileged to have with so many incredible people in my life. Thanks so much for allowing me to share in your incredible wedding day. I hope you guys are having a blast in Cancun! We’ll talk soon.
